1 Dead in Traffic Crash on Lawrence Expressway [Santa Clara, CA]


Vehicle Collision on Monroe Street Left One Fatality

SANTA CLARA, CA (September 13, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, a traffic crash on Lawrence Expressway left one person dead, police said.

According to authorities, on September 10th, at around 6:55 a.m. they received reports of a major traffic accident in the area.

Furthermore, one person was pronounced dead by paramedics upon arrival.

Meanwhile, Lawrence Expressway between Monroe Street and Cabrillo Avenue was closed for several hours but it was reopened by 12:16 p.m.

Santa Clara Officials have not released any other information about the crash at this time. An active investigation into the fatal traffic crash on Lawrence Expressway is currently ongoing.
