Vehicle Crash on San Felipe Road near Metcalf Road Left One 22-Year-Old Driver Dead

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA (December 5, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, one person died following a vehicle crash on San Felipe Road.

It happened on November 26th at about 3:40 p.m., near Metcalf Road involving a 2023 Tesla, per initial reports.

According to the CHP, the Tesla was occupied by a 22-year-old driver and a 24-year-old passenger.

Furthermore, authorities have determined that the driver was speeding and crashed into two trees before coming to a rest near the roadway.

In addition, the 22-year-old driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene while the passenger managed to get out of the vehicle.

Consequently, the passenger sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. His current condition is not yet known at this time.

Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased was not yet determined, until next of kin is notified. An active investigation is still underway.
