Multi-Vehicle Accident on 91 Freeway Left at Least One Fatality
RIVERSIDE, CA (August 1, 2022) – At least one person died and four were injured Wednesday morning after a fiery car accident on Adams Street.
On July 27th, at around 12:48 a.m., police were dispatched to a multi-vehicle crash involving three vehicles on the 91 Freeway.
Furthermore, when officers arrived, they found two vehicles overturned and one engulfed in flames. Debris was scattered across the roadway as well.
As a result, one person died at the scene, and California Highway Patrol issued SigAlert for traffic in the surrounding area.
Additionally, bystander and good Samaritan David Pride was reported to have saved an injured victim by dragging them off the roadway to safety.
Meanwhile, the cause of the crash was not yet determined, and further investigations are still underway.
Those with further information are asked to contact Riverside Authorities.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since been reopened.
