Vehicle Crash on Interstate 805 Resulted in One Fatality

MISSION VALLEY, CA (November 14, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a car collision on Interstate 805 claimed the life of one individual.

The accident happened around 7:00 a.m. on southbound 805 near westbound Interstate 8 on November 2nd.

According to California Highway Patrol, the circumstances of the crash, as well as the total number of vehicles involved, is unknown at this point in time.

Shortly after, first responders arrived at the scene and pronounced one person dead at the scene. However, their identity is being withheld until next of kin is notified.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

No further details regarding the fatal collision on Interstate 805 have been released to the public. The Mission Valley Police Department will provide more information once it becomes available.
