Injuries and 1 Fatality Reported after Multi-Vehicle Collision on 105 Freeway near the 110 Interchange
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 6, 2022) – Thursday morning, one person died and several people were injured after a multi-vehicle collision on the 105 Freeway
The incident took place at around 7:30 a.m., along eastbound lanes of the freeway, near 110 freeway interchange.
According to the California Highway Patrol, eight vehicles became involved in the collision. As a result of the crash, one person became trapped between two vehicles.
Emergency crews then rescued the person and rushed them to a local hospital with serious injuries. Another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Officials also stated one person died from the incident. However, police have not release the identity of the deceased victim. Six other individuals sustained unspecified injuries after the crash.
Moreover, officers stated the crash delayed traffic for several hours due to cleaning and preliminary duties.
No further information is available at this time, however, an active investigation is underway.
