76-Year-Old Woman Dies after Vehicle Hit on East Yale Loop

IRVINE, CA (November 9, 2022) – Friday night, a pedestrian crash on East Yale Loop, near Witherspoon claimed the life of a woman.

The crash happened on November 4th, at around 6:15 p.m., involving a pedestrian and a white Chevrolet Silverado.

According to reports, the Silverado was traveling southbound when it collided with the woman crossing over East Yale Loop. The crash left her with serious injuries.

Responding medical crews and officers arrived shortly after and pronounced the 76-year-old pedestrian dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Silverado remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. At this time, police do not consider drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the crash.
