Deadly Crash on I-805 Resulted in One Pedestrian Fatality
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 14, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, police responded to a pedestrian crash on Interstate 805 that killed one man.
According to police, the crash happened at around 4:48 a.m., November 9th, involving a Chrysler Sedan that struck a pedestrian.
Furthermore, the Chrysler was driven by a 41-year-old woman and was believed to be traveling northbound, CHP Officer Jesse Matias said.
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and was determined to be not under the influence. And also, a toxicology report on the pedestrian is still pending.
Following the crash, multiple lanes on I-805 were blocked for about an hour and the identity of the deceased was not yet released, pending family notification.
An active investigation into the fatal pedestrian crash on Interstate 805 is underway.
