1 Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash on Vermont Avenue [Los Angeles, CA]

Traffic Accident near Align Sutton Recreation Center Left One Fatality

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 27, 2022) – Monday night, one person died following a pedestrian crash on South Vermont Avenue.

The incident happened just after 8:55 p.m., October 24th, in the area of 8539 Vermont Avenue, near Algin Sutton Recreation Center, police said.

Furthermore, officers responded to the scene and found one pedestrian trapped inside the vehicle, who was later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, authorities have yet to release the identity of the deceased, pending notification of next of kin.

A large portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since been reopened.

Following the crash, no additional information was provided by Los Angeles Officials. Further investigations are still underway.
