Fatal Crash on Van Burent Street near 48th Street Left Two Men Seriously Injured

PHOENIX, AZ (October 6, 2022) – Friday morning, police received a report involving a crash on Van Buren Street.

The crash happened on September 23rd just after 9:00 a.m. near Phoenix Sky Harbor airport.

According to reports, the collision left two men severely injured. At this time, details about the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. Emergency crews arrived at the site of the crash shortly after and transported both men, in critical condition.

Meanwhile, authorities shut down the lanes on Van Buren Street between 48th Street and 42nd Street due to the wreck. Motorist were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes. No other information was provided in the report and further investigation is underway.
