Logging Truck Accident near Oroville Left Two Injured
BUTTE, CA (August 17, 2022) – A truck accident on Highway 70 left at least two people hospitalized Monday morning, authorities reported.
According to officials, a logging truck with two occupants collided into the Feather River Canyon off of Highway 70, for reasons unknown.
Eventually, responding medical personnel arrived to the scene and transported both victims to a local hospital.
California Highway Patrol said the logging truck was initially called to extract logs blocking the roadway. No further details regarding the Highway 70 truck accident are public now.
However, more information will be provided by Butte County officials once made available. An active investigation is currently underway.
