Man Seriously Injured after Argument Lead to Accident on Nelson Avenue
OROVILLE, CA (October 27, 2022) – Tuesday morning, police responded to a crash on Nelson Avenue that seriously injured one.
The incident happened on October 25th at around 8:00 a.m. involving a 2008 Ford Edge.
According to police, a 28-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were involved in the incident.
The initial report showed that the two were in an argument and the woman drove off in a vehicle, with the man partially in the car.
Furthermore, the woman continued to drive until she struck a palm tree while the man was still hanging on, causing him to be launched from the vehicle.
The man sustained serious injuries from the incident, and the collision prompted a road closure on Nelson Avenue.
Meanwhile, there were no charges have been filed at this time by the OPD. Any witness or informant is to contact the officers at (530) 538-2448.
