Traffic Collision near Redwood Estates Left Two Hurt Including One Police Officer

SAN JOSE, CA (November 10, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, police responded to a vehicle accident on State Route 17 that injured two people.

The crash happened on November 8th at about 12:34 p.m., just north of Redwood Estates.

Moreover, an initial investigation stated that a police officer was near the driver’s side door of his vehicle when another vehicle struck him.

According to the report, the female driver lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the officer.

Furthermore, paramedics transported the police officer and the driver to the hospital for treatment of various injuries.

Meanwhile, alcohol or drugs were not identified as a factor in the crash. An active investigation is underway.
