Pickup Truck Accident in Homeless Encampment Left Several Hurt
BANNING, CA (June 16, 2022) – On Tuesday morning, a vehicle crash on Interstate 10 left several people with injuries, police said.
The crash happened at around 8:30 a.m. on June 14th.
Preliminary investigations said that a mustang had a flat tire and crashed into a pickup truck.
Consequently, the truck lost control and struck a homeless camp where multiple tents were located.
Furthermore, paramedics transported the three injured people to a nearby hospital for further treatment of unspecified injuries.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
