Four Hurt in Tri-Delta Bus Accident on Century Boulevard

ANTIOCH, CA (September 9, 2022) – Monday evening, four victims were injured in a head-on bus collision on Delta Fair Boulevard.

The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m., near Century Boulevard.

According to witnesses, a sedan crossed the center median and collided head-on with a Tri-Delta bus, leaving significant front-end damage on both vehicles.

Eventually, first responders arrived at the scene and transported a 30-year-old woman and a 3-year-old child to local hospitals. In addition, two other people were hospitalized for unspecified injuries.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time.

At this time, Antioch Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision on Delta Fair Boulevard. Once available, further details will be provided.
