Several Hurt in Five-Vehicle Collision near San Diego 405
WESTCHESTER, CA (September 27, 2022) – Friday afternoon, a multi-vehicle accident on Century Freeway left at least eight injured.
The traffic collision occurred just after 3:55 p.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway near the San Diego (405) Freeway.
According to initial reports, first responders transported at least eight victims to various hospitals with unspecified injuries. However, the identities of those involved in the crash have not been made public.
Furthermore, authorities said the collision impacted traffic on the eastbound Century Freeway for an extended period of time.
A large portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since been reopened.
