Multi-Car Collision near East Mountain View Avenue Left One Fatality

FRESNO, CA (December 15, 2022) – Saturday evening, a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 41 claimed the life of Billy Wilhite.

The fatal incident happened just before 5:00 p.m. near East Mountain View Avenue in Fresno County.

According to the police, a southbound vehicle had a possible medical emergency and slammed into the back of a Range Rover.

Subsequently, the car struck another truck, causing all vehicles involved to end up on the side of the highway.

Unfortunately, responding paramedics pronounced one man dead at the scene. Later, the coroner’s office identified the victim as 69-year-old Wilhite of Laton.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
