Las Vegas Driver Pronounced Dead after Car Collision near Decatur Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 1, 2022) – Early Monday morning, 57-year-old Bobby Acevedo died after a two-vehicle collision at West Flamingo Road. The accident happened around 1:50 a.m. along West Flamingo Road and South Decatur Boulevard. According to the State Troopers, Acevedo was in a Mazda MX5 traveling east on Flamingo when he made a left turn at a red light. This caused him to crash into a Toyota Avalon, which was traveling west on Flamingo. Acevedo was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the collision. While, the Toyota driver, a 26-year-old Las Vegas man, and their 22-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized. Investigators are now looking into the possible cause of the crash.
