Solo-Vehicle Accident near Pleasant View Avenue Left One Fatality, Two Hospitalized

CORONA, CA (October 14, 2022) – Wednesday evening, a solo-vehicle accident on North Smith Avenue claimed the life of David Knoefler. The fatal incident happened around 6:17 a.m. at the 100 block of North Smith Avenue, near Pleasant View Avenue. According to the police, the motorist was speeding and lost control of the vehicle, causing the car to crash off the roadway. The vehicle’s two passengers, a 36-year-old and a 51-year-old man sustained severe injuries. Meanwhile, the driver was transported to Riverside Community Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead due to the extent of his injuries. Authorities later identified the deceased victim as 42-year-old David Knoefler of Riverside.
