7-Year-Old Boy and 38-Year-Old Man Injured in Dirt Bike Crash South of Retrac Way
NEVADA COUNTY, CA (August 18, 2022) – Sunday evening, Donald Buckley and his 7-year-old son were injured after a bike crash.
The incident happened on August 14th at around 6:40 p.m. in the area of Wolf Drive, south of Retrac Way.
According to police, the boy was in front of the dirt bike holding the handle bar. Furthermore, Buckley was traveling eastbound and the bike left the roadway, for reasons unknown, causing it to crash into a tree.
As a result, the 7-year-old boy sustained injuries and was transported to UC Davis Medical Center via helicopter.
Buckley also suffered injuries but he refused further treatment and hospitalization.
Meanwhile, police do not suspect alcohol or drugs were factors in the accident. Further investigations are underway at this time.
