MISSION VALLEY, CA (June 20, 2022) – Police arrested a driver after a pedestrian crash on Camino De La Reina, Sunday evening.

Reports indicated that the incident happened around 7:15 p.m., when 50 to 100 vehicles gathered along with spectators near the Town and Country Resort.

Furthermore, the suspect recklessly drove resulting in a pedestrian accident in the area. According to a 911 caller, the pedestrian took off after being struck by the vehicle.

Authorities said multiple drivers performed doughnuts in the area. Eventually, a police helicopter led the authorities to the driver who struck the pedestrian. In the end, officers arrested the driver and a second person.
