Big Rig Versus Sedan Crash Near Morongo Trail Resulted in Fatality

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (October 13, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a person was killed following an auto-truck collision on Interstate 10.

The deadly crash happened around 1:45 p.m. along westbound I-10, east of Morongo Trail.

According to reports, a speeding sedan driver collided with a big rig for reasons still under investigation.

Responding fire personnel and California Highway Patrol officers declared the driver of the sedan dead at the scene. However, his identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, the truck driver remained uninjured from the incident.
