George Wahb Arrested in Fatal Crash on Lampson Avenue [Garden Grove, CA]


77-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Traffic Crash on Lampson Avenue

GARDEN GROVE, CA (September 8, 2022) – Thursday, police arrested George Wahb after a pedestrian crash on Lampson Avenue killed a man.

The accident happened on August 11th, at around 12:06 p.m., along the 9500 block of Lampson Avenue.

According to reports, the 77-year-old pedestrian was walking in the area when he was struck by a black Subaru Impreza, driven by Wahb. Wahb then failed to stop and render aid to the victim and instead fled the scene.

First responders located the pedestrian lying on the road with serious injuries. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. However, despite life-saving attempts, the man later died at the hospital due to the extent of his injuries. His name is currently being withheld pending notification of his kin.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old George Wahb was eventually caught by the police. They booked him into Orange County Jail on felony hit-and-run charges.
