58-Year-Old Man Dies in Traffic Accident on Baseline Road

PHOENIX, AZ (October 18, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, a car crash on Baseline Road claimed the life of George Ybarra.

The fatal incident happened on October 12th, just after 5:00 p.m., near 24th Street and Baseline Road involving two vehicles.

According to reports, Ybarra was traveling westbound on Baseline Road when his vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle. The impact of the collision left Ybarra with severe injuries. Additionally, the other driver, a woman, also sustained injuries.

When first responders arrived at the site of the collision, they declared 58-year-old George Ybarra dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported injured woman to a local hospital for treatment.
