81-Year-Old Moreno Valley Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident near Bay Avenue

MORENO VALLEY, CA (October 5, 2022) – Wednesday morning, 81-year-old Gil Revoir lost his life in a pedestrian collision on Perris Boulevard. The accident happened around 12:50 a.m., along Perris Boulevard, just north of Bay Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Revoir was walking on Perris Boulevard when he was struck by a 2014 Kia Optima. Emergency crews arrived to the site of the crash shortly after. Medics then pronounced Revoir dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries. Meanwhile, the driver, who did not sustain any injuries, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. At this time, an active investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fatal crash. Moreno Valley officers ask any witnesses to call them at 951-486-6879.
