18-Year-Old Woman Killed after Two-Vehicle Crash in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, CA (June 14, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash along State Highway 18, killed Giselle Abundes-Ramirez.

According to initial reports, the collision happened on Highway 18 east of Rimrock Road, at around 3:03 p.m. on June 9th.

Officers arrived and pronounced 18-year-old Abundes-Ramirez dead at the scene due to the extent of her injuries.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

No other information about the fatal collision has been provided at this time. The San Bernardino County Sheriff Department continue to launch an active investigation.
