32-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Vehicle Collision near Disneyland
ANAHEIM, CA (September 1, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, Hanna Jocelyn Gomar died following a crash on West Katella Avenue.
The crash happened on August 27th just before 3:00 a.m., involving a GMC Yukon driven by 32-year-old Hannah Jocelyn Gomar, and a Dodge Charger.
According to Sergeant Shane Carringer, the GMC rear-ended the Charger and struck a tree. Unfortunately, Gomar was pronounced at the scene by medical professionals.
Furthermore, Sergeant Carringer said that speed played a significant factor in the crash. The driver of the Charger remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
No other information was provided and any witnesses are encouraged to contact Anaheim Police at 714-765-1997. An active investigation is currently underway.
