Jacob Bianco Died in Two-Car Crash on Nogales Highway [Tucson, AZ


One Killed, Two Injured after Two-Vehicle Collision along Nogales Highway

TUCSON, AZ (September 1, 2022) – 23-year-old Jacob Bianco lost his life Friday following a two-car crash on Nogales Highway.

The collision occurred on August 12th at about 10:15p.m. along the 8500 block of South Nogales Highway.

According to reports, Bianco was traveling southbound on Nogales Highway in a Chevrolet when he collided with the rear of the GMC.

At the scene, first responders hospitalized Bianco, but was later pronounced dead on August 21st due to the extent of his injuries. While two of the GMC occupants were also transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Officials are currently withholding the names of the injured victims until their families have been notified.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Preliminary findings indicated that speeding may have been the cause of the incident, however an active investigation is currently underway.
