Solo-Vehicle Accident near Rancho Road Resulted in One Fatality

WESTMINSTER, CA (December 13, 2022) – Tuesday night, a solo-vehicle crash in Westminster claimed the life of Jayda Jean Feeney.

Initial reports stated that officers responded to the incident around 9:38 p.m. on Westminster Boulevard and Rancho Road.

According to the police, a car driven by an unidentified 18-year-old male crashed through a concrete barrier at a construction site.

Unfortunately, a female passenger inside the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, due to the extent of her injuries. Authorities later identified her as 18-year-old Jayda Jean Feeney.

Meanwhile, the driver was hospitalized for treatment of critical injuries and is expected to remain in the hospital for several days.

The two other 16-year-old passengers also underwent surgery. No further details regarding the Westminster Boulevard solo-vehicle accident have been released to the public.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
