Traffic Accident on Howard Road Left Two Fatalities
WESTLEY, CA (July 7, 2022) – On Saturday, a crash on Frank Cox Road claimed the lives of Jazmin Vargas and Daniela Orozco.
According to the report, 26-year-old Vargas was driving with her 15-year-old niece, Orozco, eastbound on Howard Road.
California Highway Patrol said that Vargas was speeding while turning through an intersection, before losing control of the vehicle.
Eventually, the Chevrolet Cobalt left the road and struck a dirt berm.
Police said neither of the women were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
After arriving at the scene, the responding personnel declared Jazmin Vargas and Daniela Orozco dead, due to the extent of their injuries.
