43-Year-Old Woman, Dog Dead after Vehicle Accident near Cris Avenue
ANAHEIM, CA (September 2, 2022) – Monday night, police responded to a crash that claimed the life of Jessica Jaynee Jenkins.
The incident took place at about 9:25 p.m. involving a Dodge SUV driven by a 22-year-old man and a homeless woman with her dog.
According to reports, Jenkins and her dog attempted to cross Euclid Street when they were struck by the vehicle.
Authorities transported Jenkins to a local trauma center where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her dog also died following the crash.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Dodge remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers. Alcohol or drugs were not identified as the factor in the crash.
