Big-Rig Collision at Dixon Intersection Left One Fatality

DIXON, CA (October 14, 2022) – Monday morning, police responded to a truck collision that claimed the life of Jose Jimenez. On October 10, at around 6:56 a.m., officers were dispatched near the intersection of Robben and Vaughn Roads involving a crash between a semi-truck and a Chevrolet. According to Dixon police, when they arrived at the scene and pronounced 34-year-old Jimenez dead. Furthermore, the investigation showed that Jimenez was heading westbound in his Chevy and was broadsided with a semi-truck heading south. Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver did not suffer any injuries and the events leading up to the crash have yet to be determined. Further investigations are underway.
