Multi-Vehicle Crash on Flamingo Road Hospitalized One; Joshua Daya Arrested
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 26, 2022) – Authorities arrested Joshua Daya following a street racing crash on Flamingo Road, Monday.
The incident took place before 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Fort Apache Road.
According to reports, a Corvette C8 and a Toyota Supra were illegally racing and ran through the intersection’s red lights before colliding.
The crash involved seven vehicles, knocked down a power pole, and destroyed a bus stop and a fire hydrant.
First responders then transported at least one person to a nearby hospital in an unspecified condition.
Police eventually arrested and charged 25-year-old Joshua Daya with reckless driving, participating in a street race, and disregard for the safety of a person and property.
Spring Valley authorities are now investigating the crash and will release further information as soon as they become available.
