Big Rig Collision near Shield Avenue Resulted in Two Fatalities

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 26, 2022) – Monday afternoon, a crash on Russell Avenue claimed the lives of Leslie Boston and Fatimah Rambo. The fatal accident happened around 4:30 p.m. near Russell and Shield Avenues, per initial reports. According to the CHP, a Toyota failed to stop at a stop sign for unknown reasons and was struck by a passing big rig. Tragically, two occupants inside the Toyota died at the scene. Authorities later identified the deceased victims as 64-year-old Leslie Boston and 35-year-old Fatimah Rambo. The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of significant injuries. Meanwhile, the big rig drive remained unharmed. No further details regarding the Russell and Shield Avenues crash have been released to the public.
