Solo-Vehicle Collision on Highway 6 Claims the Life of 43-Year-Old Man
ELKO, NV (November 4, 2022)- Late Saturday evening, a rollover crash on highway 6 claimed the life of Levi Woodhouse and injured a driver.
The incident happened on October 29th, at around 11:26 p.m., about 73 miles east of Tonopah.
According to reports, Woodhouse was a passenger in a pickup truck headed eastbound on Highway 6. The driver, suspected of fatigue, veer into the westbound lanes and then overcorrected back into the eastbound lanes. The loss of control caused the pickup to strike a reflective marker post and then flip over.
When emergency crews arrived to the site of the collision, they declared 43-year-old Levi Woodhouse dead at the scene. It was reported that Woodhouse was not wearing a seatbelt that the time of the accident.
Meanwhile, medics airlifted the driver to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
