Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 86 Claimed the Life of One 67-Year-Old Woman
OASIS, CA (January 19, 2023) – Monday afternoon, 67-year-old Lucila Lopes-Romero was pronounced dead following a two-vehicle collision on Johnson Street.
The incident happened at around 2:00 p.m., December 26th, at Highway 86 and Johnson Street, per initial reports.
According to Oasis Police, a semi-truck and another vehicle crashed into each other for reasons currently unknown. Furthermore, at least four people sustained injuries with two in critical condition, one with moderate injuries, and one with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, both directions of the roadway were blocked to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but have since been reopened.
One individual, later identified as 67-year-old Lopes-Romero, was pronounced dead while en route to the hospital.
