79-Year-Old Man Injured in Traffic Crash near San Diego Freeway
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 17, 2022) – Friday afternoon, a man was hospitalized after an e-bicycle accident on Sorrento Valley Road.
The incident occurred at around 1:15 p.m., in the 11600 block of Sorrento Valley Road, near Torrey Preserve.
According to San Diego Police, a 79-year-old man on an e-bike collided with a Nissan that was parked illegally in the southbound bike lane.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries. No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
