Semi-Truck Accident near Norris Road Resulted in Injuries
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 28, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a car-truck collision on Highway 99 left one man with injuries.
Officials received a report of the incident around 6:37 a.m. along northbound 99, north of Norris Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a car and a semi-truck collided for reasons currently under investigation.
Responding emergency personnel said the crash pinned one man inside the vehicle with serious injuries.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the incident and the total number of parties involved remain unclear.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
