Pedestrian Hit-and-Run near Friar Street Left Man DeadLOS ANGELES, CA (November 28, 2022) – Saturday evening, a hit-and-run crash on Belmar Avenue left a pedestrian dead. The incident happened at around 11:40 p.m. near Friar Street in the neighborhood of Tarzana, Los Angeles. According to reports, a westbound Nissan made a left turn onto southbound Belmar Avenue and hit a male pedestrian. However, the driver did not render aid to the victim and continued southbound before the authorities arrived. Following the collision, the male victim, only identified as a man in his 30s, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. His identity remains undisclosed to the public pending notification of next of kin.
