405 Freeway Accident Left One Person Dead
IRVINE, CA (August 16, 2022) – Saturday morning, a man succumbed to his injuries following a three-vehicle crash on 405 Freeway in Irvine.
According to the CHP, the collision occurred around 5:30 a.m. on the northbound 405 Freeway at Jeffrey Road.
Responding firefighters and medical personnel arrived and declared one man dead at the scene. Although, their identity has not yet been released, pending notification of their next of kin.
Investigators said the accident involved at least three-vehicles. However, no other injuries were reported from the crash.
Moreover, a portion of the Freeway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, Irvine Officials are asking anyone with information about the 405 Freeway multi-vehicle crash to contact local authorities as soon as possible.
An active investigation is currently underway.
