Police Officer Involved in Auto Crash on State Route 17 near Redwood Estates
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA (November 16, 2022) – Tuesday at noon, authorities reported minor injuries in a car crash on State Route 17.
The incident happened shortly after 12:30 p.m., near the Redwood Estates exit on November 8th.
According to police, a police officer was on his way back to his patrol vehicle when an SUV traveling northbound struck him. The collision left both the driver and the officer with injuries.
Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported the driver and the police officer to the hospital. Both the police officer and the driver are reported to be in stable condition and suffered only non-life-threatening injuries.
