LOS ANGELES, CA (July 19, 2022) – 17-year-old Nathan Loza died in a motorcycle accident on Whittier Boulevard Sunday evening.

The crash occurred around 9:48 p.m. at Whittier and Atlantic Boulevards on July 10th, per initial reports.

According to the California Highway Patrol, they received reports of a boy found unresponsive along the roadway.

Meanwhile, the main events leading up to the incident are still unknown at this time. It is known another vehicle collided with Loza’s motorcycle for reasons unknown.

Despite life-saving efforts, emergency crews pronounced the rider dead at the hospital. Authorities later released the identity of the deceased, 17-year-old Nathan Loza. His loved ones made a GoFundMe page to help with his funeral expenses.

At this time, it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is underway.
