“All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.”- T E Lawrence
It’s a long and difficult journey to the top. Few people are lucky enough to have everything go their way without ever facing adversity. However, we all have choices. You can take the setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow or give up and feel sorry for yourself for the rest of your life. Neal Thakkar, founder, and CEO of Evolvere and Genesis Nootropics, knows this all too well. From a drug addict to a successful business owner and mindset coach, his story exemplifies grit, ambition, and willingness to transform his life against all odds.
Neal always hated losing. From a young age, he was always competing for something against his peers. From an indoor soccer game to a football cup tournament as a college student, Neal always competed as if his life depended on it. That competitive wiring prompted him to explore how far human potential truly could go. He became obsessed with how fast a human could run, how high he could jump, and even how smart anyone could become. While some of that came from an egocentric desire to outshine other people, the other part came from a genuine desire to help others.
“Part of the hero’s journey is the ego death or the absolute destruction of your identity because of some traumatic experience,” Neal explains. For him, that came when he went from being a Division 1 soccer player with dreams of going pro one day to getting a career-ending injury. With all hope of a pro career gone, Neal struggled with his identity and what he was supposed to do next. Within three years, his life drastically turned for the worse when he started experimenting with drugs.
Drug dependency became more than Neal could handle, and he hit rock bottom. He overdosed, was hospitalized, and had a stint in rehab. Faced with his own mortality, Neal discovered one fundamental truth: everything that happened to him was because of him. He realized he had control of his life and could create whatever he wanted. That realization reignited his passion for excellence. He became obsessed with his personal transformation physically, neurologically, and mentally. He also discovered his life’s mission and found his joy in helping others bridge the gap between who they currently are and who they wish to be.
Neal founded his companies to fulfill that mission using his body, brain, and mind paradigm. He reiterates that once these three are in optimized harmony, there’s no limit to the growth and output you can achieve. Neal’s company provides tested-and-true solutions for holistic development specially formulated to help you transform your brain, body, and mind. Evolvere’s supplement, QUANTUMiND Nootropic, is a bestselling alternative to the countless impractical solutions and products that don’t work in the market today.
The company is continually working toward other solutions in the Nootropics and biohacking spaces, enabling its clients to become their best versions. As Neal knows from experience, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and equips you to handle anything life throws your way. His mission is to provide his clients with the tools they need to fight, scrap, and climb at any point in their lives.
