According to reports, an eastbound officer attempted to turn on a green arrow to drive north on State Farm Drive around 9:10 p.m. A silver Honda sedan traveling westbound entered the intersection, running a red light. As a result, the sedan driver hit the front passenger side of the patrol vehicle. Both vehicles sustained damage and the officer was injured.
