Multi-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway near Smokey Bear Road Left 1 Injured
GORMAN, CA (July 21, 2022) – A multi-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway left one person hospitalized Monday morning, police said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to reports of a vehicle that overturned on the freeway.
Furthermore, the investigators said an overturned Land Rover rear-ended a dump truck for reasons currently unknown.
As a result, medical responders transported one victim to a nearby hospital, via helicopter, for treatment of unspecified injuries.
At this time, authorities temporarily closed the southbound 5 Freeway to allow for cleaning and preliminary duties.
