Injuries Reported Following Traffic Accident near Stewart Street
CARSON CITY, NV (September 23, 2022) – Monday morning, a two-vehicle collision at Long Street left one unidentified person injured.
The accident happened at 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Long and Stewart Streets, per initial reports.
According to the State Troopers, officers responded to a report of two vehicles that collided, however the main events leading up to the crash remain unknown.
Paramedics arrived and rendered aid to at least one individual who suffered lacerations. Police also stated that both vehicles sustained major damages after the crash.
Furthermore, the identity of the victim involved has not yet been released, pending notification of the next of kin.
Additionally, a large portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is underway.
