67-Year-Old Man Killed after Single-Vehicle Collision on Sandario Road

TUCSON, AZ (September 8, 2022) – Friday night, Paul Blackledge died following a single-vehicle collision on Dusty Rocks Lane.

The crash happened on September 2nd, at around 9:15 p.m., at Sandario Road and Dusty Rocks Lane.

According to reports, police believe that Blackledge somehow became unconscious while behind the wheel. As a result, his vehicle slowly drifted off-course and struck a tree.

When emergency crews arrived at the site of the crash, they extracted Blackledge and transported him to a local hospital for evaluation. While at the hospital, medics pronounced 67-year-old Paul Blackledge dead.

Furthermore, the investigation showed that speed and impairment do not show as factors in the crash. Further investigations are underway.
