Motorcyclist Pedro Alvarez Fatally Struck in Victorville Shopping Center Parking Lot
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 16, 2022) – Friday morning, Pedro Alvarez died after a traffic crash on Bear Valley Road in Victorville.
The incident occurred on August 12th, at around 11:00 a.m., on Bear Valley Road, between 7th and 5th Streets.
According to the reports, Alvarez was riding a white Suzuki GSX-R600L9, when the motorcycle struck the rear passenger door of a Silver Fiat 500L making a left turn from Bear Valley Road. The impact of the collision caused Alvarez to be ejected from his motorcycle and seriously injured.
Emergency personnel arrived at the site of the crash shortly after and transported Alvarez to Desert Valley Medical Center. There, medics pronounced 30-year-old Alvarez dead, due to the extent of his injuries.
Meanwhile, the male Fiat driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Jessica Garcia, the wife of Pedro Alvarez, has set up a GoFundMe to support the cost of Alvarez’s funeral.
