Pedestrian Accident near Valley Boulevard Left 71-Year-Old Man Dead
ALHAMBRA, CA (November 15, 2022) – Friday morning, a pedestrian accident on Marengo Avenue claimed the life of Quang Khuu.
The fatal collision happened around 7:50 a.m. between Marengo Avenue and Valley Boulevard.
According to police, Khuu was walking near the intersection when he was struck by a van. The impact of the collision left the pedestrian with serious injuries.
Emergency crews arrived at the site of the collision shortly after. Despite the life-saving efforts of the responding officers, medics pronounced 71-year-old Quang Khuu of Alhambra dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the van remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Drugs or alcohol aren’t considered to be a factor in the incident.
