42-year-old Dead in Pedestrian Accident near North M Street
LOMPOC, CA (August 4, 2022) – Saturday, police arrested Angela Rose Cline after a crash on West Ocean Avenue that killed Raquel Zapata.
The incident happened on July 30th, at around 1:49 a.m., near the 600 block of West Ocean Avenue.
According to Lompoc officials, a vehicle driven by Cline struck a woman as she was walking in the area. Cline then fled the scene without stopping to render aid to the victim.
Officials later responded to dispatch calls about the incident and found 42-year-old Zapata of Lompoc on the road. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Afterward, officers located and arrested 31-year-old Angela Rose Cline for driving under the influence.
Lompoc Officials continue to investigate the West Ocean Avenue DUI crash.
