Iridian Jazmin Bosoco Arrested after Fatal Jet Ski Accident on Colorado River
MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (July 12, 2022) – Ricardo Aponte Almanza died and Iridian Jazmin Bosoco arrested after a jet ski crash on the Colorado River.
Authorities report that on July 4th, 26-year-old Bosoco lost control while riding a jet ski. The jet ski then crashed into a crowd, injuring four swimmers, in the swim-only section of the park.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene, and transported 43-year-old Almanza, 21-year-old Jose Rivas, an unidentified 34-year-old woman, and an unidentified 30-year-old man, to Bullhead City Hospital. Medical personnel later transported Almanza to a Nevada trauma center.
However, Almanza’s injuries were too extensive, and he died Wednesday afternoon at University Medical Center, in Las Vegas. Officials state that Jose Rivas remains hospitalized. The unidentified man and woman were treated for their injuries and have since been released.
Police arrested have Bosoco in connection with the crash, that resulted in the death of Ricardo Aponte Almanza.
